Easter & Good Friday

Easter Sunday is just around the corner, April 24!  The occasion to be celebrated is the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.  The whole Christian faith hinges on the resurrection.  Critics of Christianity who want to disprove the validity of the faith will attack the resurrection of Christ.  What distinguishes Jesus from all other spiritual figures throughout history is the fact that He only rose from the dead.  Buddha, Gandhi, Muhammad, Confucius, and other religious figures didn’t rise from the dead; only Jesus Christ did that.  His resurrection is a foretaste of what every believer in Christ will experience at the time set by God. Jesus will gather to Himself all those who believe in Him and we will receive our glorified bodies, will be immortal living in perfection.  This is what believers in Christ have to look forward to.  I hope you will join us Easter Sunday, April 24, at either 9:30 or 11:00.

We also have our Good Friday service at 6:00pm where we have a contemplative time as we reflect upon the crucifixion of our Lord.  We hope you will have a meaningful Easter and enjoy your celebration of the resurrection of Christ.
